Hi all,

I am trying to make a customized version of Linux for our event which will be based on mandriva 2007.
If I get success it will be a great step forward in the direction of spreading FOSS.
I require your suggestions and help in this regard.

Looking forward for your help.

Well you have to use Revisor to simplify this a bit more.

Any updates ? what % of success you got till now. I guess, Paras is also working with you, though not sure, he has lots of pending work at his end.

Ya Paras is not working with me. He might be working on a different project.
About the % I am stuck because the VMware files are either corrupt or not functioning.
VirtualBox in Mandriva is also not functioning due to some errors.
and Neither is Qemu, I wonder why!!
Was a bit busy in counseling of my cousins.
Report my progress on Monday or Tuesday.

I was troubleshooting Virtual Machines while the Images on my HDD were corrupt.

Anyways, Image creation with Mandriva 2008.0 failed due to scripts not supported on it.

Other two options that are Mandriva 2007.1 and PClinuxOS contains older packages.
